Day 74 La Caridad to Tapia de Casariego

Today we took a beautiful variant to Tapia de Casariego on the E9. This auberge is right on a cliff overlooking the beach. We made a nice dinner and were the only ones here until late in the evening when a German pilgrim showed up and then left early in the morning without saying a word.

Jordi has long planned to take day break tomorrow in Ribadeo, there is a beach about seven kilometers from there that has been highly recommended to visit. Evidently, it is one of the top ten prettiest beaches in the World. Jordi is thinking about walking to it, we might wait till we have the car and swing back by to see it in our last week. We can't really imagine saying good-bye to Jordi, he is such an important part of our Camino, but saying good-bye is such a huge part of the Camino. He has been saying he'll catch up to us though.

I have never seen this happen before but all of these cows were laying down and stood up when we walked by and walked over to us and just stared. Even Jordi noticed and said he had never seen such a thing, all them seemed to have extra long legs too...
Sweet creatures!
