Day 62 Comillas to Serdio

We fell asleep in a beautiful spot right in the auberge garden that actually over looks down into town, last nights picture showed how you could see the famous angel at the cemetery off in the distance. We slept OK but condensation really hit us hard this morning, we woke up pretty uncomfortable, I think till now I have under estimated condensation.

We would spend about two hours at the beach eating and drying out our stuff, a wonderful spot!
We woke up and I treated the kiddos to their first Chocolate Con Churros, this is a thick hot chocolate served with a dough like donut sticks sprinkled with sugar.
We walked with Lisa and Will and decided to stop at an auberge in Serdio, a precious humble town that was getting ready for a chestnut festival. The auberge was simple and had a kitchen so we made a nice dinner. Tomorrow we say bye to Lisa and Will as they are going to take a detour. We met Heather again tonight, real cool gal! We had met at Nieves's auberge , she is the pilgrim from Boston, she too is taking the same detour as Lisa and Will.
I fell in love today with my favorite dog of the trip! I honestly want this dog! It is an overgrown puppy begging for love, galloped around his little area and I couldn't contain myself with how much I loved him. We also met some cute turkeys that the kids would gobble at and they would gobble back at.

This little snail had a broken she but the kids studied it as they go around saving (we go around saving) snails and slugs. We are not certain if this fella is regrow get a protective layer or if when it cracked it didn't make it to that membrane. We are hoping they regrow!
