It was dark, kids drifted to sleep, I drove. Looking at the map Vannes seemed to be my destination. We got there late and no real place stood out to us to set up our hammocks. Reichen woke up and we both made the decision that maybe we should get a campground. We really were rather proud of our success stealth camping/ wild camping and have enjoyed this.... But for the first time we just seemed nervous about where to stay. We drove to a campground and it was closed with the gate access unable to even let us in to set up and pay tomorrow. A few towns later I took a turn in the road and we felt we might have the perfect spot. It was along a bike path where we have had pretty good luck.
Karsh woke up and caught our attention to come look at a sign....
Mind you Karsh could easily find a needle in a haystack, he misses nothing and sees everything!
This is what was right outside of our car door where we were setting up...
This is one of the way markers of the Camino!!!!!!
Thus my screen name " she follows shells"... What are the chances of this?
One of many wonderful signs we have gotten this trip. Any nervousness I had about the night went quickly out the window. A very late dinner was eaten in the middle of the bike path....
