Back to SAINT JOUIN, a soft place to land

We decided to head back to Saint Jouin, we needed to head west as the beaches of Normandy are our next great adventure.

I will come back and update, but here are some images to share!
I awoke to this! My splurge, coffee from a cardboard cup for 2 euros or this for 3, complete with lounge chair.

Sand castles as the waves rush in, how do we accept that? We say they have been built for the mermaids....

Playing chess with rocks, they really did!

These two are such a help!!!!

This is how we slept

New friends! I was backtracking on the beach to find a rock AYnsleigh had fallen in love with and met these two cooking chicken on the beach. As I spoke with them one child at a time kept surfacing... With each child they insisted in offering up their " aperitif"....when the last one arrived they joked pretending to throw rocks at them as food was decreasing quickly. They would not accept a gracious,"no" and we're eager to host a party on the beach. Their names are Rachid and Nichols and they were hanging out until ten the time they were going to fish at night. They offered Reichen and Karsh to fish with them. They insisted on giving them each poles to take with them on our trip but I had to remind them we only had backpacks and could not. Two very special angels on our trip! At one in the morning they departed for Paris! Thank you friends for four hours of fine dining on the beach and being so wonderful to my children!

...and the rock that started it all....

DOG ON THE BLOG(S)
I am totally copying this idea from a wonderful blog I read, wish I could give it credit.... A pilgrim walking Le Puy.
This is Bruno, a lucky pup from a shelter in Spain adopted by a beautiful couple from Holland. They were in our caravan line up.
