We arrived at the Marrakech Airport after 2 or 3am. We decided to sleep at the airport for our early flight out. We woke up and since the flight was at noon, we thought we had time to eat an early breakfast at a 8am. We had a huge breakfast feast and arrived back at the airport by 10am.
There was a problem with our airline, seemed they had changed my flights get out to meet our Casablanca connection. I didn’t make note or they didn’t tell me... but after about two hours I sucked it up and purchased $600 worth of tickets to get the girls and me to Lisbon. Air Maroc is reimbursing me I think about $300....
It was really hard saying goodbye to them. They are left with the biggest burden of all carrying on the plane everything I have bought. This pic is before Steve got to repack for his flight out tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the girls and I get to board a plane with just backpacks. We are carrying everything we will need for over two months in our backpacks. That includes March through May weather....
My mind is still in Marrakech, how can it not be? I think once the boys are in the air tomorrow I can let my brain move over to the right track...
I got a text from Adam as I was boarding thanking us for including him, trusting him and embracing him like family. He IS family!!!!! He said he will not leave the boys till they are boarded!
He has captured amazing photos that are worthy of their own post, lucky me he shares them with sweet notes calling me,” mom”....
Thank you Adam!!!!
