Day 41 Roncesvilles back to Saint Jean Pied de Port

The best sleep ever!!!
Quick picture of church, Bronwyn and Reichen attended pilgrims mass last night. We were going to take the low route back to SJPP but feared getting lost in the cold rain. I also was not convinced it would be quicker or easier in the opposite direction so we went back over the Napoleon route and we're glad we did!
It was raining the first hour but where we had little views at the top yesterday we had views today (or at least better).
Reicky sent us off...
Love our umbrellas, many were bundled under heavy plastic today we got to walk in our normal clothes with our umbrellas...
While we were going in the opposite direction of everyone else we were stopped constantly asking us why we were going that way. I think every pilgrim we passed was in their first five hours of their pilgrimage and seemed shocked we had been walking for forty ( not counting break days)...
Chris was among this crew today!!!!
Reichen made me a coffee at Roland's fountain!
A perfect place for our heart rock!
Back in St Jean where we would get our package of shoes that daddy sent.

Dog on the blog literally appeared to be asking to be it! Look at those freckled feet!!!! So sweet and feet away from St Jean!
