We were off the boat by 10am, stopped for breakfast and were off with a lot of excitement.
Last night we met a mom and her 12 year old daughter at the kitchen table. I was pretty tired and anxious about being up, packed and out for the boat that I didn’t start a conversation the way I wish I had. Fortunately our boat was full of laughter and this dynamic duo overheard us saying we were going to make a go of completing this Camino and reaching Santiago TODAY!!!!
When we got off the wonderful boat ride they approached Jordi, having overheard us and asked if they could join us. LUCKY US!!!!!!
They are from Germany and mom, Lily, was like a long lost sister, the girls and Iris (her daughter) were like long lost cousins and we all set off with Sous heading to Santiago!!!!! Sous has prearranged plans and a stopping point, but we kept on and made it at 8pm!!!!!
It went by so quickly as we all just talked and talked!!!!
