This trail kicked us hard...
Sharing hazelnuts...
Bikers!!! We heard each one screaming as they came down the hill...
Popped into this precious open church...
We got to town and the bread store was closed!!!! We needed bread.... Thankfully this guy went up the street and the owner went in a back door and got us six baguettes!!!
Is this a hummingbird or a butterfly...
My salad...
Leaving town much too late this sweet farmer actually reversed to, I think, offer us a drink at his home. We were running too late and had to decline, I am certain our loss ...:( since we pulled in at nine at night it was obviously the right decision, but will admit I think we missed some great conversation and experience.
These precious cows started mooing in conversation and folliwing along as we walked. They stopped near the pasture opening ( along the river), we think they thought we were shepherds as they seemed to walk and wait after this bossy cow barked orders....
In our path as the sun was going down...
A break, Aynsleigh hands out the chocolate and peanuts...
We pass these pretty fellas...
It's getting dark and we start wondering if we will need to sleep in the woods...
The last bit of our walk was gorgeous forest the trees looked like velvet! I waited as I wanted to experience it with Bronwyn, I felt like I was walking through rich fabric.
Then we are greeted by my favorite critter of all!!!! Mr. Donkey, who successfully convinced us we are the ONLY ones he has ever loved!!!! ( this fella had this down)... A true poser!
Dog on the blog was this young pup with a shepherd, learning to work with sheep. It really only wanted to be loved, hard to believe in about a year it probably won't give passing pilgrims a second glance as it will be a real " worker"...
With his shepherd but look close he might not pass the puppy sheep training:)
