Woke up in Getaria!!!!
A highlight for me!!!
Festive and beautiful, their tourist office is awesome and they have an exhibit to explorers as many famous explorer boats were made in the North of Spain.
We slept well, hearing the waves crash.
I fel in love with Getaria when I walked through three years ago on a weekend of busy social life during lunch. Eating outside of cafes and fish grilling in the street...
We took the most amazing variant that I am not convinced I took last time though my notes in my guidebook insist that I should. It was more strenuous but the views were possibly my favorite Norte ocean views to date!

This is the plant hung on doors to keep bad spirits away...
We arrived about 1/4 kilometer outside of Deba and slept on the porch of a chapel that I don't think is used any longer. I'm pretty certain I didn't take this variant before as I specifically remember approaching Deba to the left of the elevator that brings you down into town and in the morning we would approach to its right.
You read that correctly an elevator brings you into town!!!!
