Today was exhausting!!!! We’d leave Saint Privat, have a quick coffee and get on the road. We passed a chapel built bight up, dedicated to Saint James ( Saint Jacques in France) , ( Santiago in Spain). I’m only allowed to share five pictures in a post appears and I’m using them all up on this chapel! Upon leaving it a cat appeared and showed us the way for probably atleast an hour. It was hilarious, it actually stood at area that might make you question the path and clearly proudly showed us the way. We shared some food with her and gave her tons of love. Upon leaving the woods the owners of our gite/ restaurant’s kids had a little stand up in the wood. Selling basic drinks, nothing of interest to us but they were so impressive we gave them two Euros. Two hours into our trek we ended up in Monistrol where we ran straight to Peters restaurant. Patrick was still there serving and we had a lengthy lunch catching up. I love this town and wish we had stayed here last night. It has a place to swim, but the camino called us into the mountains and we would arrive in Saugues exhausted but not first getting the luck chance to enter a grotto church built into the mountain dedicated to Mary Magdelena. The same group of volunteers from yesterday were here, volunteering to open a church that is usually closed. What an amazing treat!!! Today’s walk is one of the hardest if I’m. it mistaken and was very hot! I think many taxi thus section… but not us… if you e followed us we do insist on being on foot and carrying our packs.
