We had a wonderful stay at This is Lisbon Hostel. What a great staff, great common areas and beautiful terrace overlooking Lisbon. We had dinner in a trendy area sitting out in the middle of the walkway. I do admit I had regrets when the bill came because I knew I could have had a better meal in some hidden corner of the city.
We went to our favorite grocery store where they sell prepackaged ready to eat beets and Spanish tortillas (potatoes), which are our favorites!
The crew at the hostel was awesome, which comprised of a group of young adults from around the World. There was an artist and his girlfriend, who the girls developed a great relationship with. They spent lots of time drawing and doing art together.
We still have Sintra to visit and then on to do the Portuguese route!
