Great sleep, clean clothes and a nice comfortable lazy start to our morning!!!!
We are so blessed!!!!!
We stopped at a roadside stand for our favorite treat, jambon on melon!!!!
We arrived at Lectoure for lunch and ran into Enayet and Patricia after thinking we'd never see them again ( on this trip) , this time we said we wouldn't act like we wouldn't see each other again and we could barely say " good bye". We love them so much!
The church was beautiful...
Dried sunflowers are everywhere...
These ladies ran to greet us, of course we offered up our bread...
Right before we got to town...
We would end tonight after a long walk getting to town between 8:30 and 9:00. We saw tents about thirty minutes before we entered town and almost joined them. We suspected it was " the Hungarians" the term we have used for a group of three or four guys hanging with each other, though only two are actually from Hungary.
We continued on and stayed in a beautiful public park that a resident said we were more than welcome to stay in.
The morning was beautiful and I grabbed a cup of coffee before leaving town and " the Hungarians" came over the hill and joined us.
This town has a famous story involving a little girl that saved it from starvation by raising cats. Images of cats are everywhere!
