I interrupt this blog...

As I have had to back track to catch up, I must now interrupt my efforts to say THANK YOU TATIANA for your Viana recommendation!!! A group I had eaten dinner with last night said they were going to pass thru Viana and had a date for karaoke. On trail I caught wind of this hotel (uh oh that's two hotels in a row now), and it is beautiful complete with a huge bathtub. A wedding took place in the gorgeous cathedral, the court yard had a massive crowd and this one street is very much alive with celebration. I just returned to my room that has a balcony that over looks lighted ruins, as you enter my room with the doors to the flowered balcony open it appears the lighted ruins are two feet from you , just a small ally for cars is what separates you from them. I am glad I stopped.
