It might sound
glamorous but not so much....
It ends up there is
a fuel strike in Portugal and heavy (tornado) winds in New York City, so our flight was
late. We had to fly to eastward to Spain for fuel... and were put up in New York City by
Delta since there was no flight to get us back to North Carolina so late (landing around 11pm).
All is well!!! We miss the kiddos
and the critters!!!!!
We are home for five
weeks and then the kids and I depart for three months in Europe.
All accommodations
are booked for:
- Brugge
- Amsterdam
- Berlin
- Prague
- Budapest
- Croatia ( for a week, never been)
- Venice
- Florence
- Rome
- Southern France
- Puy du Fou Vendee
- Paris
- Brussels
- fly to the Pyrenees
- hike five days on the French side (GR10)
- hike 47 days on the Spanish (GR11)
- End in Barcelona, where Steve will join us for a week!!!
