We were close to the last ones out! One would think this would be a stupid move BUT I watched the weather and the rain was predicted to stop at around 11. Most people are out at 7am-10am! Jordi did this pass before and it was all fog! Nothing to be seen but fog... today we lucked out!!!! The sky would clear and our views were amazing. It was pouring this morning!
We enjoyed a nice breakfast, a huge cafe con leche and departed at a time no one would recommend...
An amazing walk! I never experienced the difficult part that rivals other Caminos. There was a nice sized hill that took about 7 minutes... far from what we have experienced in the Pyrenees. Our lunch spot was gorgeous!
I was ready to see our aubergue when we arrived, don’t get me wrong!
Jordi made our reservation tonight, I have forgotten the name but it was very nice. We paid for the pilgrims dinner and enjoyed it and a bottle of wine! We had a super late night, finished dinner and everyone was asleep.
